I have been on Hormones on and off for a number of years. Have grown nice size breasts. Have done some lactating, but want to try for more. Now with my Doctors guideance going through "pregnacy" level hormones(Prolactin, Progesterone and estrogen) to get breasts ready for full lactation. Has anyone else?

I've never been able to lactate  :o how can you do that?
IF I takew too many hormones I get a high prolactin level and a headache, but I can lactate.

What doctor would put you at the risk for blood clots?

If someone really wants to lactate, use Motilum to raise your serum prolactine level, get an electric breast pump, read & follow the instructions. But the rub it as soon you stop lactating, your breasts will turn into mom boobs.

I am doing this for about 4-5 months to increase the milk ducts. Then drop drastically. I'm on a blood thinner and plavix to avoid clots.

What is Motilum? I will get a breast pump and try Aanything but I'm still very unhappy with my physical development and lack of boobs considering how long I've been on HRT.

It's a drug that promotes lactation by increasing serum prolactin.

Or go down to your local health food stores and find fenugreek pills. It's an herb that helps you to produce milk, one of my friends is doing that so she can produce milk for her baby. She has small breasts, and it helps. They look pretty good now... although, here's the warning, besides being leaky (not fun) once you're off, you re breasts might go down, and might not be as firm. It's a possibility. I'm not sure if increasing your milk production makes your breasts permanently larger.

My prolactin levels are always high but I can never lactate? I just get really bad headaches when my prolactin is high which is most of the time.

From what I know of biology, it will make them permanently larger and saggier as well. That's just the package that comes with it.

My doc has constantly tested me to AVOID high prolactin levels.  He warned me of the potential pituitary tumor risks.  I'm not a doctor, so be sure you are getting an endocrinologist's advice on this.  I agree that women who have had children and breast fed often get squishy, saggy breasts...sometimes requiring a lift or implants to look perky like they used to.  Be careful what you wish for.  If you're genetically inclined to small breasts, and you've been under monitored hormone therapy for 4-5 years, and your doc has explored all the hormonal options...the best way to have full breasts is implants.

Personally...I have noticed that regular nipple and breast massage does enhance growth..esp nipple massage.  You might get a few drops of milk, but that's normal.
