This may or may not have anything to do with hormones

:o Sorry i have another question. I 've been having some trouble with my body lately...its so sad

I had a urinal infection this past summer and I might be having one again. I seem to get it this way when I am running. I feel like there might be a connection between hormones and urinal infection. Is it because of the tucking, like it is bent out of shape or is it because or something serious. Have anyone had urinal infection while on hormones?

hormones would have nothing to do with a urinary tract infection uti's are caused by bacteria getting into the ureathral tube from either hygene sexual contact or other contact introduction. this maybe caused from tucking but i would say its a combination of tucking and the running your doing the excess body heat in the groin area when exercising provides and ample oppertunity for bacteria to grow and pressure could open up the ureathra track just enough to allow it to get in. If you currently have an infection and i would try not tucking and see if it goes away i work out alot and i am not having issues with uti

A free tip (for everyone).

Sleep naked, and not under "too hot" covers.

Letting the bits and pieces, regardless of which ones you're currently equipped with, rest and "breathe" for a bit is good for 'em and reduces the chance for UTIs a fair bit. (Haven't had one since I started doing just that...)

rawr! excellent advice  it's worth turning the thermostat up a lil to wake up all soft and cuddly and warm.

Cranberry juice won't cure one, but can go along way in preventing them.

Yup.
As can drinking a lot of just plain old water actually.

If you're a coffee drinker, like me, then you want to drink about 2 cups of water for every cup of coffee you drink, just to keep evenly hydrated.
Dehydration means you pee less.
Pee "is" disinfectant to a fair degree.
If you are properly hydrated, you will go to the bathroom more regularly and that'll reduce chances of UTIs a fair bit.
