Hi everyone

Just a quick question for everyone My first corset has arrived and after wearing it for a few hours although not to tightly I feel as though I have more of a "sway in my step" so to speak has anyone else experienced this?

Welcome to the club  8)
There aren't many serious corseters here, so don't be offended if you dont get 9 pages of replies.

I underbust corset as well and yes it has the same effect. It's holding your spine straighter, which practically forces your shoulders back. It prolly feels different because with the way "men" usually walk in a kind of controlled fall forward the adjustment to your spine and center of gravity make that inclination harder to do so you naturally lead with your hips.

If you don't already, try walking with your palms turned slightly forward. It's awkward at first but once you train your arm muscles it feels and looks a lot more natural on a small waisted, hip wiggling person  ;)

Hi Becca

Thank you for the welcome I am quite new to things really only spoke to my local doctor recently and they are the only people I have told in person so far but I do plan to stat telling people after my second or third psych visit.

How long have you been corseting for have you noticed mant changes in your shape physically and are underbust corsets better for us?

Nice to hear from you to

I've worn one seriously for about three months. It's reached a point where it's too big now, that's a bittersweet pill...that thing was expensive.

There's been changes but I don't know what's from the corset and what's from the hrt. Yes underbust are better, my boobs hurt all the freaking time these days, I can't imagine squishing them in an overbust corset, ouchie.

I have a natural girl walk with wiggle.  And I have a waist cincher, but I haven't used it in a year.  I may try it again.

That's great and a little disappointing like you said great progress but got to get a new one I didn't realize it would potentially go that fast. at the moment my posture isn't the best but the corset really does help with this to.

at he moment I don't really have a nice sway unless I have the corset on and I'm going to invest in a good underbust corset next and really look to get into tight lacing properly before starting HRT

I love it, love it, love it. People call you ma'am from behind no matter what you're wearing and they really do make a difference. It's amazing the power of the hourglass.  ;) I'm working up to tightlacing still, that's a commitment that I'm not quite ready for...you have to wear a corset while you sleep. All things in good time but that's a ways off. Whatever you do, go slowly and you'll be fine. Aren't they just awesome?

Well I just bought one for the first time. It's a beautiful lilac color and accentuates my blue eyes  :).
I was very disappointed when I tried it on for the first time and in my endeavor to gently tighten it (and I do mean gently) the eyelets from the lacing started to pull out!! Bummer! Luckily for me in my former life I was a mechanic (yes don't giggle it's true. It was one of those 'lets do real male activities to suppress your inner female' things). I am reinforcing the eyelets with specially formed wire that will be very thoroughly bound in. The only problem is I haven't come out of the closet yet, so my workshop activities have to be very surreptitious indeed.

I do look forward to hopefully train myself to walk like a lady :)

Who at the dawn of victory sat down and waited
And in waiting died"

Oh, I love corsets.  I used to have about a dozen of them, nice ones that were pretty $$$.  I lost them during a purge several years ago.  *sigh*

I do have one that I wear periodically, but I've mostly given up on tightlacing.  I was down to about 18-20 inches at my smallest.  No way I could ever get back to that size again.
