Perhaps, violence on tv is a bad thing, perhaps its not

Oh, despite sometimes being necessary because its the only option, and even though its frequently deserved, and sadly, because its so awesomely effective - violence can never be a good thing.  There always has to be a better way, somehow.

I'll answer the rest later, when the gig is done.  But this was important and stands alone.  Either you accept violence or not, once you accept it, who is a victim and to what end is only a matter of personal choice.
