This thread has given me some good ideas.

I basically take care of geese, sit around uselessly, go driving around the city, cook for people, listen to music and wish I had a better sound system, watch movies... I like the idea of cooking ethnic foods, or photography.  If only I had the extra cash for a good digital camera.  I'm too much of a perfectionist to get something crappy.
I go through ethnic food phases. Currently Im on Mediterranean kick and it's most of what I cook.

My hobby is silly.  I'm a guy and I collect nail polishes... I think it's just the grown woman in me haha
I also collect shells, movies and video games, but mostly movies and I buy double so i can watch one and leave the other in the box and later down the road see how much it's worth.

I'm trying to get all the gory type video games.  In Silent Hill 4, you get to change options and have red, green, blue or purple blood.

I write poetry and fanfiction, go to the gym, take walks, read, sleep, family history and post on numerous forums online.
I have no concrete idea of my gender identity, but I believe I am an Androgyne.

Apart from playing music, which seems popular here, I have been ice skating for about 18 months and it is absolutely brilliant.  I envy people in the US, Canada and Northern Europe who can skate outside in winter.

I enjoy illustration and writing, as well as combining the two by making graphic novels.

My other "hobby" which isn't so much a hobby since i don't have the tools at this moment in time and it will be my work someday is filmmaking. I enjoy that immensely, and I find the medium very versatile.

Drawing pictures, playing video games, reading.

That's about it.

I tend to think of something I'm interested in and see how much about it I can find on the internet or in books. So far I'm a borderline expert on cryptozoological and actually zoological creatures around the world; the history and practice of certain religions; gender and sexuality issues; and truly awful yet hilarious old sci-fi movies and novels. When the right subject of conversation comes up, I can sound pretty well-read!
Apart from that, I draw and people-watch. The things I draw are mainly characters from story plots that will never come to fruition, and my people-watching (just sit on a bench or wall in any public place with or without a sketchpad) informs my designs.  ;D Then again, sometimes it's cathartic to draw a piece totally from your imagination without much thought to realism (though I do like to lose myself in trying to get the structures within whatever I'm drawing to look just right...)
I also spend a lot of time listening to amazing music. Then again, I suspect everyone does.

I just took on a new hobby/activity. Sailing. I did some sailing when I lived on the coast of Maine and I always enjoyed it so when I saw a small sailboat for sale cheap I jumped on it. Of course just getting the boat in the water has been much more complicated than I imagined but now I have all the permits and documents and hope to launch "IRIE" this coming weekend. Hopefully I'll get some boat time in before the Christmas winds begin to blow. When I get my confidence up I'll sail to Buck Island which is a few miles off shore. I may even join the yacht club. teedle de dee.

Tobacco, tea, and chocolate, but most noticeably, tobacco. Snus, snuff, cigars, pipe- I collect, and am interested in, the tobacco itself, the tins/cases it comes in, and paraphernalia. Of course, this is not only a hobby, but a habit, as I also sniff/smoke/lip. There is so much more to tobacco than cigarettes or even smoking, it's a shame that those who do partake tend not to consider their habits potential for artistry or its historical significance, of course this can be said of most anything.
