Hi fdfge,
Welcome to our little family. Over 3600 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother.

Also a newb here: i can past maybe SOME of the time. You're lucky - i have huge moobs to deal with and those are usually what give me away. *sigh*
Welcome and good luck!

do you bind? i havnt come out to anyone and i feel like binding would give everything away, not sure if im ready for that yet. although i doubt people would really notice

Unfortunately binding does NOT give me away because it merely looks like i have a really nice sports bra on. The only time i come close to getting a comment from my mother is when i wear vests (half zipped seems to make me look flat.) My dad doesn't notice (i think be believes it's "immoral" to look at his own child "there.")
I bind only when i'm heading out into public.
Still playing around - got some frog bras on the way (heard they worked good under binders) and i'm going to try a few different back braces (heard they worked too) to see what happens.

I don't bind because i'm not out to any family and they'd notice. Planning to start around january when I move out.

I have a appointment with my doc next week to talk about starting T. Won't happen for at least two months (i need to talk to someone about coming out my parents FIRST - i think it would be a LITTLE too obvious to them if my voice lowers and i start sprouting facial hair lmao!)
Also planning top surgery, but not for a while yet.
I hear ya about the parent though - as i'm currently in college AND unemployed, they pay my medical bills (i'm on my mothers insurance.) Depending on their reaction i may not be ABLE to afford to start T until i have my own regular job
