Is there something about Latinas and Asians that makes them pass better than white and black counterparts as women?

And for men, I notice white and black men pass better than Latinos and Asians, but I haven't seen enough examples for this to be a true observation?

This is more of a generality, and I notice that advertisement for transsexuals on the internet (especially in the sex industry and exotic stuff) a lot of Vietnamese-looking women are advertise. Which is like a combination of Hispanic and Asian in my opinion.

I think that Asians are small in stature than Whites or Blacks.  And they seem to have less facial and body hairs.  Some Latino women have more seem to have more masculine features.  Thus MtF Latinos can blend in more easy.

But then again that is just my observations.

Asians, no matter what sex, seem to be more androgynous. I know an asian boy (cis as far as i know) who regularly is read as a girl. And I know of several asian girls who are more androgynous.

Hmm, I don't know about that. Maybe the males seem androgynous to us  (non-asians) but the women can get really feminine. I know a lot of really short, really small skinny asian girls with big hips and such. They're not androgynous at all.

We (I'm Asian) on average tend to have smaller frame, so that does help. However, I think it might be just that people of a different ethnicity pass more easily to one's eyes.

Probably. And there's also more acceptance for being what western eyes would consider 'feminine' for a guy. Cultural and racial 'ignorance' I guess.

The amount of facial hair could be a factor, Caucasians seem to have a bit  more than Africans, and Asian males have very little. That would give them a head start as regards facial appearance.  Also could be that there is a degree of the 'exotic' also allowing the eye to be decieved.

Maybe. It seems to me that Caucasians have more drastic appearance differences between males and females. The average Caucasian man is tall, big, and hairy which can make it hard to pass. They also seem to have 'harder' features, more pronounced brow ridge, jaw, etc But this is coming from a Caucasian, so maybe I'm biased.

Meh, I think it's your caucasian bias. I grew up around a lot of Asians, and they're not androgynous to me. Actually, I've been exposed to a lot of different races and I really don't think any one is significantly more androgynous than any other.

In my country (S. Korea), people easily think that I may come from a South American country or Pacific islands. I look anyway exotic to any people regardless of their race.

When I travel to Japan by airflight, Korean attendants tried to speak to me in Japanese. When travelling to Europe, they gave newspapers in English. In hotels here when I am mixed up with foreign people, they always speak to me in English.

For me, it was easier to pass in the US or European countries. Even after hearing my manly voice, they still treated me as a woman. This can not happn in my country.

Even in the U.S., some young girls in the street greeted me by commenting like "you are so tall" (they never say I am slim  ).

I pass pretty well. I have broad shoulders and am about 5 feet 10inches in low heels. Even if I'm read I really don't pay much attention.

That is probably it.

Far east asian & south east asian males have brow bossing etc. like any other testosterone exposed male.  However, the common east/south-east asian skull structure characteristics can make passing easier *if* the person so chooses - i.e. smaller nose, lower bridge, higher cheekbones, etc..

There are (now outdated) comparisons of caucasoid, negroid and mongoloid structures that do still illustrate these very generalized racial differences although this simplistic system has fallen out of favour as it is too generalized and the technical terms have been misused/misinterpreted as racial pejoratives or prejudicial stereotypes.

Seems to me I am lucky. I am small 5ft and very careful how i look even though i never wear makeup any more.
