i know this has been done a dozen times, but I need some advice.......

For the last 6 months or so, I have random "casual" hookups from ppl Ive meet online or have known me as trans. So no big dramas... :-)

I meet this chick and the pub on the weekend, we've been chatting on the phone and are going on a "date" next week. Cause its a proper date and not just some random hookup or a bit of fun, Im a bit puzzled about how I am going to tell her I am trans.

I dont want to make a big deal of it. I walk like a guy, talk like a guy and f**k like a guy. I just dont have all the pieces :-)

She likes me a lot and I think I like her, but I dont want to scare her off before we even have a chance, in the same sentence I want to tell her face-to-face so I dont lead her on. I want to get it out of the way first up, so I am not worrying about it all night, but I dont just want to hit her with it.....  any ideas?

I say let her get to know you first, so then you could say you're just like anyone else and that she should like you for you and not what you have(or don't have). If you let her be attracted to you first, then tell its less of a runaway deal... i think
Gender expression is NOT gender identity.

Defective Catastrophe.

Ditto to the at least getting to know her first to see if there is really anything there.

From personal experience I outed myself too soon, when after another date or so I would have known there was no potential.  Don't feel like outing myself if I don't have to.

Other guys like the up-front approach.  No one right way.
