Well groups of straight guys were not lining up to see a gay cowboy movie - that's for sure.  Somehow it wasn't the bonding event that James Bond movies are.  But I do know a lot of girls who like it, though their focus is often on what happens to the women, not the guys.  The performance by Michelle Williams as you watch her visibly disintegrate is amazing.

Girls, we need to take this boy to the movies.  He has a lot to see.  ;)

Wow. Lots of good choices here. I was going to say "When Harry Met Sally," "Sleepless in Seattle," and "Bridget Jones Diary," and "The Devil Wears Prada," but I see they've already been covered. So how about a couple that weren't such huge hits but are definitely worth checking out on DVD...

Music and Lyrics, with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore
I'll Be There, with Craig Ferguson (yes THAT Craig Ferguson) and Charlotte Church (yes THAT Charlotte Church)

The first time I saw it it was half over and I did see more the girls point of view. The second time I was it it seemed to have gained a lot. wonder if I can find it again somewhere.

I reply but don't really count. Proof sorta is out of Matilda's list, I saw part of one movie.

I am so *sigh* deprived.

Divine secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood,
New in Town,
The Proposal,
Ghosts of Girlfriends Past,
Serendipity.

don't know if "My Sisters' Keeper" counts as a chick flick but it's definitely a tear jerker

Mine is "When Harry Met Sally...". I never get tired of that movie. I watch it with my BF all the time. I do love "Sleepless in Seattle" and "You Got Mail", too.

1. Sisterhood of the travelling pants,
2. Amelie
3. Mean girls
4. 13 going on 30
5. White oleander
6. Closer

Sisterhood of the traveling pants......could be interesting I guess

I LOVE these types of movies but I couldn't make it through more than the first 8 minutes of sisterhood of pants. Yaya sisterhood was o.k. but...idk. The piano was drudgery.

anything on Lifetime!

Lifetime movies are good. Is it weird that I like lifetime movies? A guy at work once said to my friend, (who is a real guy) "Why are you watching a lifetime movie?", lifetime movies are for women." I told my friend "guys watch lifetime movies too." And the guy replied to me saying, "Yeah but your a girl, it's okay if you watch lifetime", but he's a guy". This guy didn't know I was trans. But I like lifetime movies, a lot of them are good. Especially the ones with Tracey Gold. She's a major HOTTIE!!! I really don't like to label thing like "this is a guy thing" and "this is a girl thing". Ya like what you like, ya know?  It's doesn't make you more or less of a guy if you like something that is considered for women or more or less of a girl if you like guy stuff.
