I've noticed a weird effect from T. As some of you know, I once had a drug problem. Now after being on T for some time, I am noticing collapsed and injured veins poking out of my skin that were previously hidden. I don't know if this is due to them growing larger or more prominent or what, but it's pretty freaky. And gross. These are knotted, out of commission veins. I haven't seen them in a decade, what are they doing here?  Anybody notice a similar effect?

Ugh. Usually estrogen is responsible for very-close (i.e. varicose) veins.

Maybe fat redistribution?

Jay

I bet this is what it is. Females have a layer of fat just under their skin. Nero's testosterone is probably removing that now.

It is interesting that f2m transgender also can worry about vericose veins like me, m2f transgender.

My fat layer in the skin of legs and arms is very thin. Fortunately, veins in my legs and arms have not been so noticeable. However, veins of my hands are far more protruded compared with typical women. If people look at my hands carefully, then they can read my sex easily whatever I wear. As I am getting older, veins in my legs also become more noticeable.

In some cases, other pathological problems can make a particular area of veins protruded.

I always envy young women here their smooth hands.
