My cousin chose me to be his best man 

So....he calls me a week ago to tell me he is coming to town so we can do our tux fitting.
I honestly feel uncomfortable doing that cause they would have to measure the chest area width.

Man I don't know what to do.

If you honestly feel too uncomvertable doing that tell him you cant make it and give him your measurements. They can make the suit if you supply the right measurements

Getting fitted for a tux/suit though is pretty easy, measure across here, up there, around here. Wear you binder with a singlet

I was dreading this late September. I went in to Mens Warehouse, extremely hung over with my brother. He knew I was uncomfortable and did his best to talk ->-bleeped-<- to me the entire time and keep my mind off it.
It was a breeze. The lady was ONLY focused on getting my measurements, and as quickly and precisely as she could. They wrap a tape measure around your chest, quickly. Then measure from your crotch area to the top of your foot. It was over in a minute.

Yeah, you can just give in your measurements without going in. I would say not to worry, but sometimes that doesn't calm the nerves.

not sure if this will help or not, but most of these places don't care about your gender presentation. they really do just want to get down to business and get the measurements done. i got fitted for a tux once (and i wasn't making any effort to pass as male, just as butch lesbian) and no one batted an eye.
however, there is nothing wrong with just passing along your measurements as lachlann said. good luck.

I have always wanted to wear a tux, I almost did at prom, but i wore a dress anyway.  I have a friends wedding coming up too, anyone know, will the people feel your hips? cause I'm pre T, and I have a small waist and kinda big hips, and what about packing? Dont they ask you where you lay your penis? right or left?

do they make tux's for small people, like inbetween boy's and men's sizes?
