...when I got out of the service I swore I would never run or be anal about making my bed ever again. I'm an inherently lazy and disorganized person and it's truly amazing whenever I accomplish anything.

So anyway I've been housekeeping all day and it occurred to me that I've started making my bed every morning. I don't even remember consciously starting. I take a lot of pleasure in turning my bed down at night and seeing it all soft and warm waiting for me while I do my foo-foo. It's not the same if I have to make it first, so at some point I just started doing it as soon as I get up.

I've been taking newfound pleasure in a lot of little things like that, and I'd like to know what other little quirks you might have picked up as you transition into your new lives 

No.  Easy enough.  I live in an RV and getting around the bed is a real pain.  So I just thrown the sheet, blanket and coverlet over so that it isn't a mess.

And if anyone wants to flip a silver dollar on my bed to see if it bounces...Guess what?

They're either gonna be out of a dollar or spend some time looking for it 

Since right now I am sleeping propped up on the couch, I don't think so!

I sleep on a couch so making my bed consists of chucking all the bedding behind the couch when I get up

Whenever I've had an actual bed I've never made it, I don't see the point, it's just gonna get messed up again anyway

I love a crisp clean bed. Especially after a bubble bath. Of course I make it after breakfast. It would not be civilized to leave a messy house.

I tend to make my bed every day; it's just the timing that's a little odd. I make it when it occurs to me, so sometimes it's right away, sometimes at 2 in the afternoon, and sometimes right before I go to sleep. I'm just odd that way, I guess. ^_^

Never. I'm just going to mess it up anyways. Plus I lounge around in it at times to watch tv or just take a nap.

I sleep in a camp cot type thing, no bed, so no making. I am camping and who makes the bed when they camp.

I do it probably less than once a week.

Lazy and disorganized. I can't really see this getting better with transition, I can only see people judging my sloppiness even less (if that's really possible.)

yep  I work late & I wake up after my gf so I gotta make the bed every mornin.

I do but I don't...

My mattress is on the floor and I am a tall person. All I do is stand at the end of the bed holding onto one end of the blanket and lift it up above my head letting it unfold and slowly drift back down till it's somewhat decent. 

Of course I make my bed every morning.  Just like I wash the dishes every night, clean the house weekly, etc.

I hate having anything out of place.  I admit it, I'm a clean freak.

On the average yes.  Excluding some holidays, sick days, and certain occasions.

Though I can relate to some of the posts here and find them most humorous.

No way! Haha, I'm just lazy that way.  Also, where I live is freezing in winter so at the moment the only warm places are in bed or in the shower, so I've been spending my evenings taking overly long showers and then getting into bed to go on the computer or read (talk about partying through my teenage years!) so making my bed is just a bit pointless!  (Plus, in my opinion, the crumpledness preserves heat better...)

Well, I do make my bed when I wash the sheets. Not much choice there 

Other than straitening the comforter a bit sometimes it pretty much stays made most of the time

I turn the covers back when I get up and leave them that way till I go to bed.

Occasionally I'll wake up with the covers all over the place. So then I'll straiten it up and tuck the corners again.

It's freezing winter time here. But no worries, I have a down pillow top on my mattress and a nice comforter
