at first I hated the idea of these and was turned off from them. But my x-gf was super keen on the feeldoe, she said she wanted to be able to feel me, so we gave it a go. I was pretty impressed, I must admit, it felt like a extention of my own dick.

I agree the colors available for them are not what I would have decided on. It just craks me up when I see that blue weenie. I joke she has the worst case of blue balls.

I second (or third) the issue with the colors.  What is so hard about making them more realistic? 

I have no idea if this would actually work. But maybe dip the thing in skin coloured liquid latex and when it dries it'd have a realistic coloured outer shell?

I thought that at the start too, it took alot of convincing from my GF at the time to try it and Im glad I did, I was becoming frustrated with strap-ons (having to break the mood to put them on, trying to to position them just right)

with the glue-on or the share? With a glue on I can't see how you wouldn't need a harness of some sort, as it's glued to you ABOVE the actual shaft, so when pulling out it would pull far away from your body/bits and just be attached to the skin above your own cock.  Not sure  how that would work with a partner, doesn't seem to work with toys (ie a fleshlight).

the share can be gripped tightly inside if you keep your legs together.  If you like to spread your legs while penetrating yes you'd need a harness unless you have muscles of steel.

On the color issue:

I haven't looked at these things, but I can see that for some segment of users
they would rather have it look like a toy than some anatomical bit.
At least that's the way that I'd prefer it if I were to get one.
