life is about learning for instance i have learned that with every human encounter no matter how brief we take something away and leave something behind. what have you learned in this life?

But also that there is such a thing as being too open minded to the point where you lose opinion or sense of self.

There's too many things I've learned so I'll leave at that for now.

That it's never too late to do that things that will make you happy.

That in the end they can't pay you enough to do something you hate, and no amount is too low to do something you love.

When it rains, there is always a rainbow.  And if you look hard enough you find the pot of gold.

Agreed. It comes back to enjoying life...it's short. Do what makes you happy, and don't do what doesn't make you happy.

Expect the worst, hope for the best, and you'll be okay.

That no matter how horrible it feels to have someone turn their back on you because of who you are, that if they can't accept you for you, they're not the kind of people I want to be around anyway.

(I know this in theory at least... I still miss my ex despite this)

There is something new to learn nearly every day

Neither does anyone else.  So it kinda balances out that way.

1. I am not bisexual.
2. People are inherently self-interested, but this isn't necessarily bad.
3. Women, as a sex, are not out to hurt me.
4. I can take on a little more each day/week/month/year without buckling.
5. At some point, it may be better to be authentic than to be safe.
6. I can get by with a little help from my friends--and my therapist, at least for now.
7. The universe usually allows U-turns.
8. Think of it as an adventure.

PASSING GAS TO KEEP WARM WILL NOT HELP YOU WIN ANY POPULARITY CONTESTS!!!
