What gets me through?  Music, silly movies, meditation, and - best of all - friends.  My friends here and IRL have pulled me out of plenty of tough times in the last year.

Thanks, friends. :icon_bunch:

Music, Equlibrium is the best.  German folk at it's finest my dear.
Blut im Auge is a song you can never be depressed to, no matter how bad you feel.

Note the importance of the Giant Bar, anything less is just a waste. Nothing beats a night of chocolate and Buffy the Vampire Slayer dvds.

Oh you read my mind~.
Don't be scared to fly alone, find a path that is your own
Love will open every door it's in your hands, the world is yours
Don't hold back and always know, all the answers will unfold
What are you waiting for, spread your wings and soar

Ice cream of some chocolate variety (Blue Bell's Fudge Brownie Nut is my favorite, thought it's not always available), alcohol, and the internet.  :)

Music, and sleep seem to do the trick (not at the same time!). And sometimes alcohol (hey i'm only human).

a good book (usually Sci-fi), friends, coffee, music - especially the blues, work, beauty wherever I can see or hear it - and imagining it being very different.

(Vicodin and alcohol scare me - I work to help people recover from the bad effects. But the government telling us how to live scares me too. Not everything that is not ok should be illegal)

I think imagining meditating helps me sometimes too.

Really...really good sex. Merlot. A savings account. Reading something inspirational. The magic of cinema. Watching the sun come up.

A bath, a good book, listening to music, sleeping, exercising, talking to the people I love.

Thinking of what the alternatives are. Then I pick myself up and get on with it.

Woo I forgot my iPod. I discovered some Monopoly and Uno apps the other night and now can curl up under the blanket for hours and play games with myself.
