Do you hear the call of the wild heterosexuality?

That is, even if you are homosexual in your target gender do you lust after some aspect of being heterosexual?

Depending on whether you are FTM or MTF, would you like to go with a date to a Hollywood awards ceremony wearing a tuxedo or an evening gown respectively?

I'm not sure if I really put my finger on the question in my mind.

An evening gown, definitely.  Why you know someone who needs a date?  ::)

Seriously. Make that, really seriously.

As for going to a Hollywood awards ceremony, I would totally go with Sam Worthington, or Hugh Jackman, or Vin Diesel, or Dwayne Johnson... or as Janet put it, do you have someone specific in mind?

What? Hollywood? No thanks. Too much coverage. No-name designer (not fashion, thanks. Yknow the fun stuff, product, architectual, areodynamics) is fine by me.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "wild heterosexuality". I'd love to  be treated like a straight guy, but that's not happening for awhile (realism, not pessimism).

I'm a lesbian open to the possibility that who knows... maybe there's a guy for me, but he'd have to be a lot like a girl (my definitions of course).  :D

... and as far as Hollywood goes, depends on the designer and who I'm with, but I personally think a combination tux / gown would be hawt.  8)

Tux for sure. It is wierd being thought of as a heterosexual for the first time in my life at the age of 40. My SO says it is also strange for her.

You can go, you just have to look 'hollywood good' but the Academy has a bunch of people who are 'seatholders' who's job it is to fill every empty seat when some star gets up (that's why you never see empty seats at the Awards, even though most of the people are out in the hall) and then give it back to them when they get back.  You just have to look OK on camera, be dressed right, and not engage in small talk with Miss Streep or Mr. Eastwood when you sit down next to them.

ok I think I see what you are asking.
Let me see if I get this right...
You are a MTF who is a lesbisan.
You feel the draw to experiment with simple hetero activitys like being seen in public on dates with men?
If I am right cool. Do it.
If I missed the mark then sorry.

If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

You know what? I honestly wouldn't care as long as I was there :) I could very easily see myself going in either and indeed with either a male or a female companion. Mind you my tux would probably have a fairly overtly feminine cut.

I am generally pretty flexible about my social presentation - I guess I'm just a typical Bisexual. Which is indeed my preferred sexual identity.

I can get tickets though my union if you want to go - its just a few hundred dollars per ticket as 'a donation to the Academy'.  I went to one of these things once when I was young and thought it would be cool, but I spend the longest week of my life that night at the Grammy Awards.  The after parties are cool though.  Just skip the show, go straight to the party.  Doing the whole 'entrance' deal with the carpet walk and all was kinda fun.  Once.

Cool! If I'm ever coming over to LA at the right time I'll PM you. Because that would be a real dream come true! Course it would be even better if I was up for an award ;) (well I can dream anyway...)
