LayneOfNazareth

Hey y'all; just wanted to introduce myself.  I'm a ->-bleeped-<-boy teenager, pre-op and pre-T.  I've come out to most of my friends and on Facebook, but my mother refuses to let me socially transition at school.  Regardless, I identify as male and most people see me that way also.

Hi Layne, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 3900 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out

Hugs and Love,
Janet

Welcome to Susan's, Layne.  :icon_flower:

There's a lot of good information and good people here.  Each of our stories is unique but we have a lot in common.  Settle in, pull up a keyboard, and explore.

As Janet said, be sure to look under the Announcements heading.  There you will find the rules we live by in this little world of ours: "Site Terms of Service and Rules to Live By", "Standard Terms and Definitions", and "Post Ranks".  Look through the other stuff there, too, like "Age and the Forums".

Happy exploring. :icon_wave:

Welcome to your new home. We are nice people, we only occasionaly will flame you and if we do it we only want you to be you.

Keep in mind that we are all in the same boat as you. MTF, FTM, adrogenes ect...It is all the same when it comes to the emotional and spiritual chalenges to being trans.
And as Janet says..Always nice to find anouther brother.
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

I know this is going to sound incredibly stupid, but I'm a newbie here and as such cannot figure out how to edit my profile/change my avatar.  I looked in the help section several times, but I can't seem to find any of the tools to edit my profile that are mentioned.

Look in Announcements-->Post Ranks.  There you'll see you need at least 15 posts to be able to edit your profile.  If you're interested in what's here at Susan's, those 15 posts will be easy and come quickly.

And don't feel stupid.  A lot of us have asked the same question. ::)  (There are a bunch of others most of us seem to ask, too.)

Look around.  See what interests you.

Ahh thank you Jesse.  And I'm alright.  You're all so strangely friendly!!  Not used to this on a message board; haha.  It is very refreshing.  Thank you for all being so welcoming.
