I think you can walk from one to the other, the Jubilee Bridge runs alongside the Charing Cross Bridge.

Take the Jubilee line to Westminster, then change onto the District line to Hammersmith. Journey time for that is probably about 20 minutes, according to the route planner. You then need to either walk or get a bus down Fulham Palace Road to the clinic it's about 10 minute walk.

Alternatively, you can get off at Barons Court (the stop before Hammersmith) and walk from there - it's also about a 10 minute walk, but much nicer as you walk through a cemetary rather than along a busy main road.

i just found a map i got with the letter. it says the nearest tube station is happersmith-piccadilly or district, and walk or take bus the rest of the way. So im guessing i will have to take either the piccadilly or district train from waterloo, sorry. But i have no idea... never been to london on my own.. And i will be doing this alone. and getting a lil stressed.

The Piccadilly and the District lines don't run from Waterloo. Therefore, as I said above, you need to get the Jubilee line to Westminster, then change onto the District line to Hammersmith. Journey time for that is probably about 20 minutes, according to the route planner. You then need to either walk or get a bus down Fulham Palace Road to the clinic; it's about 10 minute walk.

It's a really easy journey, don't worry about it too much. Just make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get there so you're not late for your appointment.

I was just wondering how long it took you to get to your first CX appointment since your reference to there from your psychiatrist/gp? I've recently been referred to the psychiatrist from my GP and i'm trying to estimate how long it's gunna take maximum

Don't know how typical this is but my GP referred me in September and I'm still waiting to hear anything despite doing a lot of chasing

Hi Hazard, they said all trains were cancelled last week but they still ran at least a 50% service up from Portsmouth every day to Waterloo. Check the website for SWT or whoever you travel with, they have a live report for most stations running all the time.... so if you can find a way to get to the station and you appointment is not too early in the morning, then there is still a chance you might make it....

Good Luck.. :icon_flower:

Well my friend got a train here from london but got suck in guilford. And i have to be there by 1.30, My mum wont drive in weather like this. But i thought if i go to the train station early and if they r all cancled then i have to cancel my appontment. I dunno... Cuz if i dont make it and then call them it might look like im just making excusis if u get me (sorry about the spelling)

Think with this weather they'll understand-even if you call them from the platform to say your trains been cancelled. At least you'll be able to tell them you tried

Seriously, take a look at the SWT website, the trains via Guildford are all currently on time tonight, the main risk is ice for the first trains on Monday morning if we don't get a serious dump of snow tomorrow...

Like Alex says if you haven't got thru to CHX yet, then you have nothing to loose but maybe catching a chill..

Good Luck :icon_flower:

Yeh i will take a look, But i hard the south east is getting bad snow 2morrow. Im just worried that if i cancel this appintment then it might take anouther year to get another one... I now that it prob wont be that long it just seem like it toke forever to get this one and as i thought things were starting to go right im palled back again by the snow... I dunno.. I dont even have anyone to go with me. Im getting myself so worked up over it its stressing me out...

Hazard, I'm no good at this so i'll keep it short. Take a deep breath, then hit a wall. Everything is gonna be good just look how far you've come already. Even if you do miss this app cos of the weather they'll understand that and re schedule. Don't let it get to you now, your so close to getting what u need
  •

Hazard "AJ"

I looked on SWT and they dont say anythink about trains being canceled. What i will do is look 2morrow night and early monday morning.

You know, if you want it, if you really want it, you'll find a way to be there.

Hi there,

Even if you miss the appointment because of the weather and you have to change it because you are now in the system as it were you will be given another appointment. I have had to cancel a few appointments and probably yet another one on Monday. I know it seems important that first appointment but it all works out in the end. Somethings we can change and some things we can't.

What ever happens I hope all goes well
