It seems to be a tradition here to announce those milestones in transition.

I've been full time and on hormones for years now, but I'd never seen a gender therapist and stuck with one.  There was always some sort of disagreement.  Anyways, she and I strike it off on our first appointment, and we speak more of other issues than about anything relating to GID!  When I drew the session back to the topic, she told me she'll happily write an approval letter for hormones and surgery.  I was rather shocked is all, I suppose.  I hadn't expected to make progress quickly as far as following the circumstances for approval, but I suppose I can't complain.  It's just strange to have planned to endure a very long ordeal, only to find it was hardly an effort.

I'm rather happy.  Now it's simply a matter of savings>.<
