Hi everyone... I'm back.

I'm still not transitioning yet, and every day is a struggle. It's worse given that I found a GID therapist, but can't afford to see him because of my crappy insurance coverage. I'm living with my wife and kids in her parent's house in NW Ohio until I find a full-time job. So for a million reasons, everything connected to me becoming a woman is on hold.

Now I have a part-time teaching job in Columbus two days a week, so if anyone in Central Ohio would like to get together for lunch or coffee, shoot me a message... even if I can just make a new friend or get info on the Trans scene/resources in C-bus. I'd be really grateful.

I'd love to reconnect with the folks around here... feeling very lonely these days.

Hi there Johnny. I remember you from your previous posting a few months ago.

I don't live in your area, but I have a pretty good friend who has decided on a non-transitioning path for personal reasons, but whom I consider a transsexual as well (she's not so hung up on labels). And she lives within an hour of Columbus.

Would you like me to ask if she might like to meet you? She's pretty nice and caring, and in person she's kinda stuck in the male sex role like you. But she seems to be pretty content with her life all the same.

Good to see you back, though (happily) I'm no closer to Ohio then I was before. But have you tried whatever the LGBTxyz group on the Ohio State campus?
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Meral Crane is the one to go to in C-bus. Her personal sessions are a bit steep but the group is cheaper. If you can't afford even that then her and the group are great resources of info about the area and things available, best electrologists, endos, etc.....and you might meet someone you get along with there.

P.M. If you like.
