Q: What's better than a man onstage, telling funny jokes?

A: A man onstage, telling funny jokes.... in heels!

Here's another thing we bet you didn't know: January is national drag history month. In honor of this monumental occasion, the gay-oriented cable channel Logo is producing an all-drag stand-up spectacular.

I have very mixed feelings about drag queens. I can relate to their desire to express femininity. But for a male identified man to present as a woman with the object of usurping female presentation just hurts our cause. It plays into the Mary Daly and Janice Raymond ( who wrote The Transsexual Empire: the making of the she-male) anti-trans positions.
