USF "queer theory" course angers Christian organization

Tampa, Florida - The Christian-based organization, Florida Family Association, has started an email campaign protesting a course at USF called "Queer Theory."

A flier promoting the course explains that issues discussed include "the connection between gender and sexuality" and "Is transgender the same as transsexual?"

Wait till they check out the biology department.

Well, if they have their way, it's another nail in the coffin of American education.

Allowing a political organisation, posing as religious to dictate suitable matters for study in a university is just oppressive ditatorship.

Presumably their next target will be decadent art!

The target has always been science in the end, that's where the real threat is.
