I have decided not to kid myself any longer. I really do belive I am more female than I thought. I have spent my life as male doing mostly normal male stuff if that to please my parents sister, brother, peer's, and just about everone elso in my life. I can't keep locked in any more the female in me. I want more than ever to express my feminity in all aspects of life. Be it dressing as female or acting as female. The feelings are stronger than ever. I first came here  confused and unsure not knowing what I would find. I found a gold mine of info I never thought I could ever find. This place has given me so much insite to the many phases of transition.  I may not post often but I do come as often as time allows. I know it will take time as I have read from many here that have been in transition  all that is involved in making that transition. It may take me a few  years before I am ready to start the transition, This is something I really want to accomplish.  Thank you for listening.

Amazing, isn't it? What's great is that while there's an incredible diversity in views and opinions, everyone is so friendly and considerate. It feels so *safe* here - which is a rarity amoungst the other forums and lists out there.

That's great Owen! Patience, I'm told, is the key to a stable, successful transition. And yet, you may find that your need to transition defines it's own timeline

I am very glad to hear that you are figuring it all out.  I wondered if you would be changing the gender marker on your profile from male to female and it's neat to see that, especially with you always signing your posts "love being female".

That is why I came to Susan's. I am feeling more feminine everyday and I look foward to someday going out enfemme with confidence. I need a little more work though and patience.

What is your current female name? I haven't had any sexual reassignment surgery,   still I consider myself being more on the  female's side even though I am a genetic male. I feel the same way as you do , and tired of living this doubled life as a male outside and as female in a comfort of my apartmentwhere nobody sees me and I can do whatever I want to feel myself a woman, so you are not alone. I haven't decided what female name to take , but as soon as my  male's name Alexander , why can't I become Sandra?or I can take any other female name, like Kathy.
