I vote for up, definitely up. It does make your face look longer. And overall, I think it looks really good!

Up.  It makes you look a little older too.  Not sure if you care about that, but the sticking up definitely helps.  The sideburns look pretty good like that.  Just make sure they don't get too long or pointy and you'll be fine.

and I love it UP, very Dr Who. the bad thing about short hair is you need haircuts about once a month, i could use one again lol.

Up looks better, but where I live that style of hairdo is often limited to the age of late teens.. Hair becomes flatter and frames the face when guys get older/jobs/etc. So I'm not used to seeing it up for young adults, though I really have to agree with everyone else: Up, definitely.
