...said my doctor as she handed me my Retin-A script.

Haha you thought it was another vampire thread, didn't ya  >:-)

Has anyone used this cream, I'd love to hear feedback, especially on the creme vs. micro gel

It isn't as offensive as preparation-h thus far, but I think I'm going to keep the prep-h for my eyes and use the retin a everywhere else.

I have never tried Prep-H, but I have tried everything OTC for wrinkles.  I will be interested to read your results with Retin-A.

Hope it works out, Becca.

Oh it already is. The preparation h (with biodyne) is fixing my horrible, horrible eye bags with amazing speed. The retin-a is for skin tone, and apparently if you go in direct sunlight while your'e on it your face will burn off because the melanin doesn't work. I went out just for a few minutes today, and my skin does in fact feel a little warm. It's supposed to take 8 weeks to start showing results, with some burning and peeling on the way. Wild, huh ;)

I was reading up on it.  Sound about like when I had my laser skin peel.  Which did not for me.   :o

Holy cow you guys, this stuff is freaking amazing. Yes it rips your skin off, but it doesn't hurt and the difference is amazing after only 10 days. The skin that replaces it is soft, pink, and very girly. I'm amazed, I really am. I went out the other night and every time I touched my face the skin in that spot would start to slough off, so I broke out the apricot scrub and exfoliated (that was a little tender) and wow, the difference in skin tone is remarkable and ulness it's wishful thinking I believe it's reducing pore size as well. They should seriously hand this stuff out with hrt. My therapist even commented on my skin tone, but I think she lurks this website so she might just be trying to encourage me. Well it worked. I only budgeted a couple tubes this term, but next term I'll stock up.

Fresh air and sun gives you the vitamin D that you need to be healthy. No man made chemical makes life without sun any better.

You have to go outside your house to get sun, so that rules most of the people here out.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Fresh air ans sunlight is essential to maintain health.

But if your Dr has said to avoid direct sunlight then do so.

But only because she has said this.

However, I am pretty certain she didn't tell you to use it continuously. You should take a break and at these times, get some sunshine. Plenty of high factor sun screen should help to maintain the changes.

Darn, was hoping to meet another like myself. I hack IT systems for a living so being pasty white is kind of a requirement but between having to avoid sunlight for one issue and then turning around and being put on two antibiotics back to back, I was in pain just for stepping out into direct light. It is not to that severity anymore and those who know me just say it is the next step in my vampire evolution. I just keep hoping that the sweet, sexy body is the step after. ;)

I heard you could use PreperationH for bags  under the eyes. I have horrible ones! Going to go get some today!

preparation h with biodyne, that's very important!

I burned my face yesterday, just the left jaw area that was exposed to the sun while I was driving to the doctors office. I was holding a frozen trout on it earlier because it hurt so much and while I looked like an absolute idiot holding a fish to my face it sure felt good.

Is this something you need to continually do to keep getting results or is it only for a few weeks/months then years of benefits before going another round?

Why a trout? Why not a halibut?

I didn't have any halibut. There's some salmon patties, in retrospect they would have done a better job than an actual fish  ^-^

The peeling is getting really bad, I caught a glimpse of myself in my window today and it looked like I had just crawled out of the grave. A cool washcloth takes care of it and cleans it right up, I'm just enamoured with how much difference it's making to my skin tone. It's about time I got a freaking break, that's for sure; every other tiny little gain has come with a huge struggle.
