Definitely pantyhose or stockings (but I prefer pantyhose for sure).

That's where it started for me, but now though it's a necessary article of clothing for feeling fem, it's not enough - I have to don the whole apparel, from make-up to heels.

hmmm... I'd say it's a toss up between freshly shaven legs or ultra shinny lip gloss. 

Smooth legs for me and no body hair anywhere else except for my head.

For me its suspenders,stockings,a silky short dress and 3 inch heels.

IT has been over a year since that wonderful day I discovered I am a cross dresser... and I love it

Wearing black pantyhose over my freshly shaven legs and feeling the bra straps around me... is great

but what really makes me feel feminine is the act of shaving my legs and painting my toe nails (wearing that nail separator make me feel good), putting on my eye makeup and lipstick and putting on earrings (I do have pierced ears). I really feel like a woman when doing these tasks

For me, my panties and stretch jeans with the occasional leg shaving was enough.But now, my wife has accepted my gender expression to the point of buying me nail polish. I am feeling very comfortable and pretty right now and for me that puts  me in touch with the feminine.

Lately it's been looking in the mirror after a shower with just my panties on

Shaving my legs.  It's probably the most cathartic thing in the universe.  All my worries just melt away, and everything in existence comes into perspective.

I would have to say it is the freshly shaved and lotioned legs and the deep regal purple toenail polish that my wife bought for me the other day.  That's a whole other story.

Yes,Yes,that too P!nk,I love it when a man says to me how lovely I look,in fact everything about being a woman makes me feel so feminine when I think about it,and I dont have to think really hard either!! 

Smooth skin!! It feels so good and feminine to run my hands over my clean smooth skin!

jill_cd_girl, I like pantyhose also. but have not tried stockings and garters. Pantyhose are allmost, indestructuble a plus for beginners I am sure!

Many interesting responses. I truly love all things feminine; sexy underware, beautiful nails, sexy shoes and skirts. Most important to me however is hair; having lots of it in the right place (on my head) and none of it in the wrong places (anywhere on my body). I started full body waxing years ago and have stayed totally hairless ever since. HRT has reduced my waxing frequency. When I finally grew my hair out I felt truly feminine even when dressed a male; I don't do that anymore. When I first had my hair styled I was in heaven. I love my little breasts but without my hairless body and my long hair I would never feel truely feminine.

I agree. Feminine hair style is the most important one for me. A week ago, I straigtened my hair in a year at a hair salon in my apartment. The hair dresser charged just ca. US $25. This small money can keep me happy for at least several weeks. My hair now looks so lovely to my eyes.

Today I dyed, as the hair dresser recommended dying in at least a week after straightened hair treatment. The cost is another $25. A total of $50. I was so happy becaue I paid $250 about a year ago to straighten my hair. I will straighten my hair every 3 months!
