It could be they only had so much studio time booked and some guy is on the other side of the glass giving him the 'speed it up' signal.  But I prefer to think he's just real stoned and doing that "Faster! Faster!  Play faster!" deal from Reefer Madness that I love so much.

I also once liked listening classical music.

Nowadays I started to listen again, but I realized that I no longer am so much emotional compared with my teens and twenties. Today I listened various versions of Dvorak violin conerto:

Beethoven: Fur Elise

And a young guy here well known in youtube, once appeared on a TV program here showing his skill of "free hands". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zack_Kim
He is now in obligatory military service, but he played fur elise during the program.

What happens when you take a group of very talented musicians, give them four weeks to learn a completely different instrument (members of the string section could not pick another string instrument) and have them play Canon in D?

This.

Frédéric Chopin - Prelude in D-flat (op.28 no. 4)

"Suffocation" is one of the most famous pieces Chopin wrote;
it was played at his funeral. It consists of a slow melody in the right
hand and repeated block chords in the left hand..

Frédéric Chopin - Prelude in E-Minor (op.28 no. 15)

Nicknamed the "Raindrop" Prelude, is the longest of the twenty-four.
The main melody is repeated three times; the melody in the middle,
however, is much more dark and dramatic. The key signature switches
between D-flat major and C-sharp minor (its parallel minor).

Always liked the John Williams version of Asturias by Isaac Albeniz.  It's a lot faster than the Segovia, so here is both, you make the call.  P.S.  Tell the Doors to credit this right on Waiting for the Sun, they sure didn't write it.
