I liked Mister Bungle, FNM a bit less, and other projects even less.  But it should be a good time, I like sold out shows that people really want to be at, the music is secondary to that a lot of the time.

OMG... This is impossible to answer! I'll just list out some that come to mind. The only band I wish I had ever seen, but never will, would be the Jerry Garcia Band. I'm even okay with having missed the Grateful Dead, but Jerry Garcia Band... :(

Roger Waters
U2 - Popmart Tour (2x)
Black Crowes (3x)
Les Claypool (Not Primus - 6x, Primus 2x)
Horde Fest (Blues Traveler, Beck, DMB, etc)
Lilith Fair '97 & '98 (Sarah, Natalie, Ben Folds, etc)
WOMAD '94 (Peter Gabriel, James, Stereo  MCs, etc)
Phish (3x)
Rage Against the Machine
NIN/Perfect Circle
Lyle Lovett
Violent Femmes
Chris Isaak
Radiohead
moe. (too many times to remember)

I usually try to go to at least a couple shows a year. In fact, I'm moe.ing again in March!! They're my current fav! :icon_chick:

I really liked Crudo even though it was probably the worst of his many side projects. Dan the Automator, Mike Patton and Butterscotch. what could go wrong?

fantomas and peeping tom were alright too especially peeping tom with rahzel.

Oddly enough I stumbled into a Jerry Garcia Band concert one year in 94 (I think). I was working for Blockbuster Video and they were trying to get into concert tickets and venues. I had to work one of the shows in order to get free Depeche Mode tickets for a show in the same venue the following weekend and while the music wasn't necessarily my cup of tea I had a blast!!

Yeah I miss the old Jerry Band days, both at the 3 Stone locations, and later at the Warfield.  The Garcia Band played the Warfield more than any other band, and the Dead hold the record for sold out shows, doing 21 in a row back in 1980.

Stella Blue

The Dead
Bob Weir and Ratdog
Roger Waters
The Redwalls
Billy Joel (first concert ever went with my parents)
bunch of cover bands (Darkstar Orchestra, Machine, ect)

Unfortunately that is mostly all for now but I am young and broke, and didn't start going to concerts til a couple of years ago...

This year I hope to see The Fleet Foxes, The Felice Brothers, Bob Weir/Phil Lesh, Roger Waters is rumored to be doing The Wall later in the year.... I'd be content if I see those this year.

Sad news, though Weir is doing Further, it looks like Ratdog is no more.

they are so good live. I saw 2 sets of theirs at sasquatch in 08 (they covered for the national who was running late due to bus problems in addition to their regular set) and another at coachella (at sunset I might add. so amazing!) Mykonos live. bliss.

Don't think I've been to a single show that I've enjoyed. Mostly dragged to them by other people.
  •

MICHELLE192

I only seen a few live
Metal church,
warrent,
W.A.S.P.
Metallica
Genesis

I would have liked to see more

I've seen Super Furry Animals a few times,
Misty's Big Adventure many times
I saw Zappa Plays Zappa when it was going to be a one off, Dweezil, Ahmet, Steve Vai, Napolean Murphey Brook and a few other guys doing that
Electric Six
A Hawk and A Hacksaw - brilliant, they were with Fanfare Ciliacola as well.
My Toys Like Me
and the Polyphonic Spree.

I also go and see whatever bands my mates are in at the time

I've seen these guys for free.

Unless you are an Aussie most of these probably won't mean a thing, but during the 70's the local hotels had  Dragon, AC/DC, Max Merritt and the Meteors, Jo Jo Zep, Split Enz, INXS, Goanna Band, Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs, Chain, Company Caine, John Farnham, Masters Apprentices, Sherbet, regularly on weekends.
Overseas acts I have caught include, Wings, Slade, Lindisfarne, Rainbow, The Corrs, and a couple I was in no state to remember.
