I get my sixth session in a couple of weeks.   My aesthetic nurse has said that I shouldn't need another full session.   I have only a few very fine hairs left on my chin and top lip.

I was informed that after the sixth session, all this will be gone.  I was also told to expect that the final shedding will start a couple of weeks later.  After a further nine weeks or so all the facial hair will be gone.

I trust my nurse as they have been very accurate with the projected results so far.

Has anyone else received the nine week response?

In my experience that's probably an unrealistic expectation. that assumes that the technician didn't miss a single hair through the initial treatment and caught each one at exactly the right time. I've had 12 laser sessions and I would still only put my results at 90% at best even though, like you, I only have a few fine hairs on my upper lip and chin.

good luck though! and congrats on being another step closer! :)

I've had six sessions and converted over to all electro to get the remaining white hairs. After about 9 weeks since my last laser session, I've noticed a bit of regrowth on my upper lip. The hairs are pretty fine, but definitely dark. I'm thinking of having another round of electro on just the upper lip (because i'm a masochist or something).

Very, very little regrowth anywhere else though.

I have been told that I may require occasional touch ups, particularly on the top lip, but no more than many genetic females require.

I have a young niece with very dark hair.

She's in her early 20s now. But when she was 16-17-18, she was by any measure, stunning. (And she knew it!)

Anyway, she had a nice moustache which, being very dark, was all the more noticeable and tended to grow quite quickly.
