Suspect could be androgynous bank robber

Saanich police may have arrested the androgynous robber who has been holding up banks across the region in the last few weeks.

Someone walked into the Bank of Montreal on Cook Street near Quadra Street around 4:30 p.m. Saturday and demanded cash.

The suspect fled on foot, but police made an arrest shortly after. Police would not say if they arrested a man or a woman.
