Catherine

Well I have finally done what I should have done years ago.

I am not out to the world. I did this a little over a month ago. So I am 24/7 it feels so good and everyone has been so understanding and nice about it.

I have returned to the care of doctors after a 15 year gap and been referred to a psychiatrist to start the diagnosis all over again (which is a bit of a pain).

All I need to do now is find a job and get on with my life.

Currently, I am living full time apart from at work.   With likely redundancy sometime in the next few months, I plan to go full time when I leave my job.

This is the light at the end of a very dark tunnel.

Congratulations, Catherine!  How wonderful that you are finally able to proceed toward becoming yourself.

Today is my 10-month anniversary.  I have experienced tremendous joy in the last 10 months.  I wish you the same. :icon_bunch:

Congrats!  I  know it is not an easy thing to start with, but you have to be in the right mindset to fully understand, this is not about everyone else, but you and what you do with your life.  You will always have some ppl that are opposed or set off a neg vibe, but if it is not someone close then who cares, and yeah it is very helpful to have ppl surrounding you that are positive about you and your decisions.

It is a good thing to be 24/7, even when you have to deal with the doctors again.

You will do what you have to, because you know what is at the end on this road you are on.
