Lady Gaga is planning to wear a fake penis on stage.

The Bad Romance singer - who has been dogged by speculation she has had a sex change or has both sets of genitals - can understand where rumours she is a hermaphrodite have come from and plans to make fun of them in an "artistic" way.

I gotta say that would crack me up. I say go for it!

This I cannot wait to see.

Kinda sad, she is such a trend setter, but this stuff is old hat, the riot grrl bands did it 15 years ago, Wendy O. Williams long before that.

The entertainment ind. using sensationalism? Gee... Who'd a thought?

Fair fecks to her... I'd be a bit cheesed off if everyone thought that about me XD why not take the mick?

Old trick or not, I like the idea of her taking the piss out of the rumours.

I'd like it better if she got some gay boy up on stage, down on all fours, giving the fake dick very real life fellatio - oops, I saw that 10 years ago now at the Doll and Gun Club show.  And I don't see where doing that prove anything one way or the other (anyone, boys, girls or other places on the spectrum can wear a dildo - except that she is a born genius when it comes to publicity.  And we knew that.

Also, I've never seen her do a gag twice, so enjoy it this time around, I doubt its going to be a staple in her act.

Additional kudos to her for pointing out that there's such a double standard on promiscuity. It's something I've come to find annoying lately.
