There is something interesting going on with me particularly my chest. Over the course of the past few months I have been noticing a gradual increase to my breast size as well as the nipples themselves. Almost as far back as two years ago I thought that my chest was looking a bit more feminine than usual but I thought it was just in my own head. Recently, there is no question. In fact, I'm starting to get cleavage. I tried to measure my bra size to the best of my ability and it looked like a B cup but I'm skeptical of that and don't even see how it should be large enough to be a regular A cup.

What makes this so bizarre is that I've never taken any hormones yet to transition. I want big feminine boobs but haven't started taking action yet to get them. I don't know if mind over matter is this powerful but if so I must be special. If not, this is a rather strange form of gynecomastia. As much as I thought this may be my own mental exaggerations since I want to be female, a trusted friend has clearly noticed not only nipples showing against my shirt (when I'm presenting as male) but that I even have a feminine curve to them. If I want to wear a tight t-shirt as a male to at least appear somewhat feminine, it is a bad idea as I basically have to wear a bra or it would look inappropriate. She felt that I clearly have A cup size boobs. I almost jumped earlier this evening when I had my shirt off and glanced downward at something and noticed by left breast the largest I've ever seen it. These things look and feel feminine and even bounce around as I'm walking.

If I'm turning into a woman without taking horomones, this must be a dream come true but at the same time I must wonder what is going on. I am not overweight in the slightest. I have traditionally been quite skinny to the point where people are concerned I'm not eating enough. Granted, I have been gaining weight also over the past few months but am clearly within the normal range of weight and probably still appear lean to most people. I have been noticing that in this same time frame, the body hair on my arms and legs is simply not growing back as fast after I shave it.

I have C cup bras I wear when I go out and present as female and stuff them with silicone forms. At least two or three times now I have worn the bra with no inserts whatsoever. While the bra didn't fit perfectly, it certainly fit well enough that it wouldn't have worked a year ago and I don't think my chest looked unusual at all when I was out.

Any thoughts? I could try posting a picture if it is allowed or at least through PM or something if someone wants to tell me if this is my imagination or not. Thanks.

lots of 'men' get this boob growth for various reasons...but as you're posting on a transsexual forum it's reasonable to suppose that you feel some inner TSism and as that is in itself a birth defect there is no reason why your physical body may not have a 'birth defect' in that it has hormonel levels or whatever more predisposed to cause boobs...if you like them a endocrinologist could check your blood levels to see what your levels are and if you need to take hormones for any reason...but if they are grwoing noticeably you need to be preparing a plan of action for when you have to let folks know whats happening.

Congratulations on the breast growth, maybe. :)

There are lots of medical conditions that can cause male breast growth.  For example, a tumor of the pituitary gland can cause hormone levels to go crazy.   Some medications can do it to.   It is worth getting it checked out.

You may also have some type of intersex condition as well.  There are lots of different syndromes, and most docs aren't too familiar with them.

Age and weight can give you moobs (man boobs).  There are also a number of health problems that can cause it.  If it were happening to me, I would call my doctor for a checkup in between my little dances of celebration.

Let us know what the medicos think. :)

I had a little breast growth pre-HRT and when my hormone levels were checked I found out that my eastrogen levels were higher than normal but my testosrerone levels were normal.
If you do get things checked out make sure they check bioth testosterone and eastrogen levels.  I had my testosterone levels checked before which of course were normal so missed finding out about this till i went on hormones.

I think I will eventually get this checked out. It turns out I actually have been gaining weight so this could be the main culprit. I haven't gained a ton of weight but a somewhat noticable amount although luckily I'm within the normal range of weight for my height. There could be higher estrogen levels as well and it could be a mind over matter issue to a small degree as in since I identify as a TS (pre-op) it would make sense that my body already does have hormonal levels slightly tilted more towards the feminine norm. I'm not severely concerned about this but it is noticable enough to raise my curiousity. Hopefully, I can get scheduled soon with a gender therapist and get the hormones started. I don't know if this particular issue warrants a separate visit to a doctor but if it continues to get more extreme, I'll definitely do so. Thanks for everyone's advice.
