QuoteUnder discussion will be the suggested guideline:
Transgender students must be allowed access to bathrooms that correspond with their gender identity or expression or, if they prefer, to existing single stall bathrooms.
With respect to locker rooms and shower facilities that involve undressing in front of others, transgender students must be provided with accommodations that meet their needs and that take into account the legitimate privacy concerns of all student involved.
QuoteIf there's a suit brought for example by a little girl who's not happy that a fully naked little boy is in her shower stall with her, then she can be sued for sexual harassment if she complains about that. That's my understanding of where this is all going," Martin said.
That Martin fellow is either an idiot or a liar.
Why would any of us need to be worried about naked people, of any sex?
The only reason I can think of is if one naked person attempts to harrase another. But that argument applies equally to gay people.
I never told anyone about being gay, when I was at school, for this specific reason. I had no interest in anyone but feared being accused of it.
But even then, the argument is specious simply because the guidelines make it clear that lockerrooms would not be mixed.
