Hey Hey

Figured I'd let y'all know I decided to do it. I mean, where would we be without people willing to tell their story. I am no where near activist status, but I am honoured to get this opportunity to do my part - as small as it is.

I can post a link when it is up if anyone would be interested? Or I guess I could email it if anyone is keen I don't know - any ideas??

Let me know. Its nothing stellar, but I managed to make the editor cry! I am glad it touched her and they have been nothing but respectful and supportive from the start. I feel my piece is in good hands.

Cheers for your help people - couldn't tie my shoes sometimes without these forums!

Much love!  :icon_hug:

Hi I'd really like to see it.  When is it going to be up on the website?

Thanks man. Not sure yet, I should know tomorrow when it will be up - sorry I can't tell you more til I hear  :-\

Anyways, this is the site www.mamamia.com.au
I don't know what you guys will think of the site... It's definitely more mainstream and not GLBT. Not sure what kind of reception it will get - but the ed and Mia think it will be a big hit.
I guess time will tell hey...

Jay, you should be ashamed of yourself making a woman cry. :D Just kidding. Anyway, good luck with that and I look forward to reading your articles.

I actually like the idea of that website being mainstream. It shows that we are also part of mainstream society and don't completely live in the GLBT world. Heck, I've never even been part of the GLBT community and now am just part of the trans community... if you could even call it that. We have very few trans resources here and an unstructured "community". So, my community is online and my doctors. Anyway, my point is I want to eventual be stealth and just live my life as a normal guy, so mainstream awareness is great for me.

Nathan.

Just finished reading your article, good job dude I really liked it.

Thanks man!
I was hoping to come across with my own story and not like I was talking for the whole trans community - hope I got it!
It's just my story and I assume to speak for no one else but me!

Thanks for taking the time to read it and comment mate cheers!
