I self medicated dutas for over two years and never had a problem with it. I self medicated spiro for almost a year and never had a problem with it on full or empty stomach.

I get both with insurance right now, and oh my god, they bring me so much pain, it makes me want to curl up. I'm starting to slip and forget to take HRT because it causes so much stomach pain. It's worth it, but my god... it can't be healthy or right.

I've never heard of those problems before, has anyone experienced it?

The way I see it, the 'dangerous, unregulated, black market stuff' has been a hell of a lot safer for me. But insurance makes it affordable....

At one point, I failed to get an avodart pill down my throat, and it started dissolving in my esophagus. The burning was beyond belief. Drinking a lot and eating helps some, but not much, and not often.

I did, and horrible migraines too. Eating a small high protein meal before helped a lot, I know there are arguments for taking avodart on an empty stomach but meh. I know what you mean about the difference between Dr. Reddys and Glaxos versions...somethings different but it's hard to pin down.
