called the genderteam (interdisciplinary care unit for TG in Netherlands), (actually called last friday)
got my first appointment for intake, on 20/10, which is way sooner than I expected. Usually they make you wait for like a month.

I've been working on finding my own way socially in the TG community and with the help of an independent gender therapist, and put off calling the hospital until now.
Guess I'm finally ready to take the next step(s).  :)

I'm scared, still, but more excited. Actually, I'm much more relaxed than I thought I'd be. This just feels right.

Finding what's right for you can be hard if everyone around you is telling you you're wrong.  But no one can know what's right for you but you.  That's why we have to follow our gut instinct.

And being scared is normal.  Just keep a good support group in your circle.
When you judge others, you do not define them, you define yourself.

Hey there Alex.

Ya know when it feels right, it's right just as when it feels good, it's good.  I'm so happy the life is going well for you.  Keep us posted on the out come and I would suspect that some of the fear is really just nervous excitement.  Either way it is truly exciting.

A very significant step....

Starting is always a difficult and the hardest thing I ever did was making that first appointment.

As the others have said.... let us know of your progress.

I like the Dutch system for treating Gender Dysphoria.
