I think someone asked this before?

I was wondering how long it took for u guys to notice some changes?and what was the first thing you noticed? I know it varies and depends on the person.I'm just curious.

First thing I noticed was my voice changing.  Then zits.  Then the lower bits.  Then hair.

How appropriate that someone should ask! I was planning on composing thoughts on just this topic.

I've been on low dose T for about a month and I've noticed my voice dropping already! I'm shocked. I was thinking it was all in my head but Jay's comment here makes me think that maybe it really is dropping. (YMMV of course..)

I also (simultaniously) noticed the button growing and becoming VERY sensative.

I've not noticed anything else yet...wait. Yes I have. Grr! Zits springing up across my chest. Bah to that.

First the downstairs department (visible difference almost over night) and then voice.

This is what I wrote in a previous thread (wanted to make sure everything was accurate):

QuoteTomorrow will be my one month on T, so it's all still fresh in my mind what's happened so far.  The first thing I noticed was an subtle, but noticeable increase in my little guy within the first week (maybe even first few days).  I also had more energy, and when I work out, I'm actually able to see the results from it (increased strength and muscle mass).  I did gain a little weight, but it's the holiday season, so I'm not considered about that yet.

Yesterday, I saw looking at myself in the mirror and saw that the little peach fuzz hairs on my upper lip are just slightly darker than normal.  Whether that's an effect of T or not, only time will time.  My voice hasn't changed much, or at all, from where I started out.

I've now been on T for two and a half months.  My voice is definitely lower and I sing a proper tenor now (C3-A4, I crack at a C5).  Light blond facial hair is coming in on my chin and upper lip.  It's noticeable enough that other people have commented on it without prompting.  I've got some dark hair on my stomach around my belly button but not "happy trail" yet.  Nothing else significant that I can think of.

Body odor changed pretty quickly, I think I noticed a difference (downstairs area, mostly) within a week.  By the end of the first week, my little buddy had grown quite noticeably.  I was very shocked by how quick that was.  It took a full 2 months for my voice to noticeably drop.  Zits actually took 2-3 months to start getting nasty.  Body hair has been happening, but it's so gradual that I can't put an 'I noticed it at this time' date on it.

The next day my junk got bigger, and then my skin texture and odor changed after that. Facial fuzz got thicker too, and I think that's it for noticeable change.

I had downstairs growth the next day, then at 3 weeks and 2 days, I had my first big voice drop. I'm at 2 months and 1 week today and I have alot of blonde facial hair coming in on my chin and sideburns, starting to get fuzz on my neck too. And I have dark hair on my upper lip. Skin has gotten rougher and smell has changed too. I still haven't gotten any increase in acne.
Call me a cheat but I make my own fate.

Downstairs growth and a "small" dip in the voice within the first week.
Slowly followed by; reduced cellulite, a little bit of acne, scent change, and now I'm noticing that my upper arms and thighs look significantly more "muscular".

It might not be too soon to assume, all my changes seem to be happening relatively fast. But yes, you will have to wait and see, but even if it's a placebo effect it's not necessarily a bad thing.

Oh yeah...
I'm living proof that "Results may vary"...

My libido dropped, and it's still low.
My appetite for food hasn't risen either.
And,
Zero increase in leg/arm/chest-hair.

And I'm 11 weeks in.

Don't mean to butt in, but I'm worried about the change in scent. I have a particularly strong, manly scent pre T. I enjoy it and so does my SO.

What I want to know is how you guys on T smelt pre T and how you smell now. How much of a change was it? Were you like me and had relatively no change? I'm worried to have that change and be something we no longer enjoy...

I'm nearly 6 weeks on T.

No change in appitite or amount of acne.
More arm and leg hair, some actual dark moustache hair.
Voice is dropping. The bridge of my nose is wider.

First change I had was junk growth, I think this is the case for most of us.

I haven't noticed any change in how I smell. But i'm on gel so I have to shower every day before  applying it. If I could go a couple of days without showering maybe I would notice something. I do sweat a bit more than I used to though.

About a week and a half on T here.
First change was within the first couple of days and was the genital growth. I found that it didn't look different, but definitely felt different. After a week it was very noticeably longer.
Increase in sex drive was next, followed by hints of hair coming through in new places.

It was quite a drastic change for me, however that doesn't mean it will be that way for you. If I had to explain how I smelt before T it would be more 'sweet' without any perfumes or anything. I wouldn't say I smell worse, it just smells differently.

I never noticed it and still don't, but dogs did and reacted to me as they do to males, even though I knew them, just a few months in. My gf, who was a post-transition gf, says I just smell like a guy, like her ex-husband. All I notice is that if I leave the shower for too long, it's definitely more pressing than it used to be.

For the OP's question: noticed voice first, then others noticed face next (less fat, more defined features). I noticed leg hair. I never looked at downstairs and am still pretty dysphoric about it. It took 4 years before I grew any noticeable facial hair and omg did I stalk the three hairs I had. I wanted to introduce them to other friends...

Now, after 6 years, I have a mustache, goatee and sideburns, but still not a beard. I don't even have to trim those bits more often than once a week (I would have to shave them more often if I didn't grow them). And I'm still working on chest hair. I look like a centaur - hairy from the waist down and not so much waist up. Most of you will be more lucky than I was in that respect. Yay genetics.

I never felt more hunger, but I always craved meat and still do. I will grill two steaks for dinner and skip the veg if I'm lazy.

Oh, one thing I did notice was I lost my ability to multitask. I had to change my work habits as a result and just linear my way through stuff. It's taken a long time to adjust to that. I used to be able to juggle a bunch of things at once. Now I can't, but I can power through a task better than before, so I had to change my organizational systems.

My voice dropped just a tiny bit within that first week.  It was sort of like having "morning voice" all the time.  Interestingly enough, though, it didn't drop to a definitively male range until around 9 months.  At 10 months it's still slowly getting deeper.  (I should probably also mention that I am on a low dose, although last time I was tested my T levels were toward the higher end of normal male.)  Scent was the next thing I noticed.  Around 1 to 2 months out I started smelling like I remember my dad's coat smelling when I was little and would use it as a pillow on long car trips. Oh yeah, and there was an increase in acne right away, as well, but it's hard to pinpoint exactly when that was because I had always had trouble with acne unless I was on the Pill, and obviously I had gone off of it a couple months before starting T.

first thing i noticed was my voice. Within like 2 weeks. sex drive went thru the roof also at that point. was fapping consistently. the hair didnt grow until much later, but i have a feeling that has to do with my genetic makeup. my older brother has little to body hair. we are half lakota indian.
