Equality, not surgery
Should SHAC cover gender reassignment surgeries?

SHAC is there for the health and well-being of students, so providing prescriptions, physicals and therapy is right up their alley. Some students believe that SHAC should cover gender reassignment surgeries for transgender students.

Yes, equality is important and the transgender community is very much discriminated against. It is not right and certainly not fair. But what SHAC does and does not cover is not an issue of equality nor should it be made into an issue of equality.

I agree that covering surgery might be a little much, but the comparison of a transsexual to a girl with big tits is a bit much as well.
