I've been taking DHEA every night for 14 days, and I've noticed some changes. Faster metabolism, more acne (though that might just be the red death coming up >:( ) and more sweating.
My voice has definitely gotten a bit deeper. I've been making weekly samples of it, so that I could tell. First two sound pretty much the same, third is definitely different. Here's links for the logs:

Just thought I'd share because I think it's pretty cool. :D

There seems to be a noticable deeper tone there.

But do be careful with that stuff and give your body some time off occasionally

Yeah, I'm planning on doing 3-4 weeks on, then 1 week off.

Hey, I saw it at a store and it said "do not take if under 18."

Would they stop me from buying it?

No, they didn't stop me.

awesome.  I finally was able to pick some up today, so I'm on day one here.  I had some very minor changes before when I was taking ZMA and tribuloid, so it will be interesting to see how the dhea compares.

As much as I'm hoping this will lower that voice, I'm kinda worried about it too.  I work in a call center, where I'm on the phone all day, so having my voice constantly cracking would be really annoying.

Just be very careful with these things.

Stick to the dose written on the label.

Drink plenty of water.

Tak a break after a few weeks.

If you feel unwell at all go and see a Dr, taking the packet with you.

And remember, this stuff isn't for this purpose. It isn't recommended for under 18s.

On your own heads, be it.

My voice isn't cracking at all yet. I'll let ya know if it does.

In the summer of 2004 I took 4-AD (the real stuff) that got banned in 2005, a prohormone. Converted to test. Since then I've looked for something widely reported to be androgenizing in any noticeable manner, but no luck... Damn laws. I went and wrote down some "pro-hormone" names at my local store and am doing some research.
Would you mind PMing me the brand name and your dosage? I'm desperate right now for anything since I've been in limbo for six years and feel like I'll implode if I don't step forward.
Is it dehydroepiandrosterone? Is it some kind of ester? Fancy name (like 2a 3a epithio- 17a-methy-5a,-androstan-17b-ol (which I must make clear is not DHEA?)

Sorry if I'm bothering you. I need to know these things right now.

So much harder to find than anything that feminises. Really, the only reason they can think of for taking these kinds of things is for 'roiding, which is illegal. Tried to get an aromatase-blocker supplement. Discontinued.

'Nother thing which I hadn't noticed till last night: I have darker hair coming in on my legs. Since I'm naturally blonde, my leg hair used to be almost invisible. Now there are some very dark brown hairs coming in.
Hope the face follows suit. xD I've stopped shaving my peach fuzz so I'll be able to tell.

I just picked up some dhea at Walgreens.  I have PCOS and apparently guys with PCOS get some pretty good results with it.  I've already got a good amount of dark, coarse facial hair, chest hair, etc from the PCOS alone.  We'll see if the dhea helps it out a little.

Excuse my ignorance but what is PCOS?

Is it possible the DHEA could've made me more aggressive already?  My 17-year-old sister was just being incredibly annoying for no particular reason like she always does (purposely trying to provoke me) but instead of ignoring her like I usually can, I hauled off and hit her in the head with a pillow and then we had a huge fight (which wasn't nearly physical enough for me-- all she did was call me names [referring to me being transgender was one of the insults] and I was so hoping she would hit me so I had an excuse to rearrage her face but she fought too much like a girl-- just insult after insult after insult and she's a minor and smaller than me so I didn't want to hit her unless she hit me first).  I'm wondering if she really just finally pushed me over the edge or if the DHEA had something to do with me not being able to take her constant provocation any more.  I've only been taking it for a few days, but I stopped taking my high-estrogen birth control a few weeks ago, so my natural DHEA/T levels have probably been on the rise for the past few weeks.

^It's probably a combination of the two things. I know I get aggressive and fly off the handle at people alot sometimes for no reason, but I think it's related to my T levels being crazy from transitioning again and people messing with me. Plus I was on steroids for asthma and they made me VERY aggressive.

Polycystic ovary syndrome. Wikipedia says a little something about it, but I don't know how accurate the article is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCOS.

I've read that a large percentage of pretransition trans men have PCOS, but I don't know how true that is.

Good thought on recording it, AC. I just started today and am doing the same.

In the US you can.  It's in the vitamin aisle.
