Both my parents are conservative christians. my dad is a homophobe. my therapist is agnostic and says that she thinks conservatives are dumb. It doesn't help that I am diagnosed as a skitzophrenic.

The first day I put on makeup I showed my mom. She constantly was asking me questions, like why did I put on makeup. She even said something about Michael Jackson. anyway I went to my room to organize my bags for college. Next thing I know my mother is on the phone with my therapist. My therapist tells me if I don't take off the makeup that the police will come to my house and take me to a mental hospital (one that is very far away and I've been to a few times.) My mother refused to take me to college, on MY VERY FIRST DAY OF THE SEMESTER.

So a week later I was in my therapy session. I told her that I had a crush on these guys in my past. She flat out said I was lying. She said "gays don't wear makeup."

I've been wearing makeup in college the past 2 months and they haven't the slightest idea. If I tell them that I am transgendered I swear to god they'll roast me alive! Besides I don't even want breasts. I only want hormone therapy for my face. Maybe if I take low doses I won't get big breasts?

Also these people are looking for clear cut answers. If I tell them I don't have the money for hormones and have no idea what sexuality I am and want a woman's face but not a woman's body they will lock me up a mental asylum!

The situation is quite difficult for you Jill.

All I can suggest is you try to avoid any conflict.

But wanting a feminine face seems perfectly OK to me. Provided it doesn't cause any conflicts or problems with others.

Best of luck

Is there some sort of law where guys can be put away for wearing it (and good if there is, I have a little list of bands here).  How can he say that?

Alright, put down the mascara and back slowly away from it.

But, if you need your mom to get you to college (assuming you are not quadriplegic or something) then perhaps college is not the place for you.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

I may be wrong, but I get the impression that Jill's situation is complicated by a number of factors.

Hopefully she can finish college and start to make a life for herself.

But in the meantime, the best she can do is try not to agrivate already over sensitive people.

lol, i have to go to college so i can pay for a car so i dont have to rely on my mother to drive me everywhere.

my physcologist is a she anyway, not that it matters.

wearing makeup is not illegal, but apparently my physcologist has the authority to say that wearing makeup means i am insane. so apparently they can drag me away from home to a mental institution...

yeah.

You could try to go somewhere that doesn't require driving.

the college is 4 miles away I can't walk there cuz I carry heavy equipment. I used to ride my bike there but I can't exercise with makeup on. Walking to the store in the cold winter is hard enough because my makeup will start to run. imagine 4 miles lol

bus is out of the question. besides getting strange looks i would have to wakeup 2 hours early and id have to take 2 buses. thats like 10$ a day.

besides getting their early isn't really that much of an issue for me. sometimes im late for class alot but at least my parents dont know why. there'd be no point in riding the bus or bike because id still have to put my makeup on inside my house. we need to get to the root of the problem which is ignorance and intolerance.

So. . . I know your situation sucks, but if you can walk and don't want to mess up your makeup, walk there and put on the makeup there. It can't take that long to put on, can it? Additionally, isn't college a bit more important than makeup?

My first reaction to this is to find a different therapist. One who actually is not a bigot and actually wants to help you.

If you get some support and not someone threatening you, you will be able to start to sort out your problems.

Good luck with it all

Exactly. Your therapist sounds like the nut job here.

Also psychologists and therapists should never force there opinions on you or threaten you to make you behave a certain way. That is morally wrong in general.

The effects of hormones are cumulative and taking a smaller dose doesn't lessen them over time, it just takes longer for them to show. If you take enough to feminize your face to any extent you will likely grow breasts as well. You can't target specific areas with hormones; it's a whole body commitment.

I think, if Jill only needs feminim face just do FFS, that's it, no need to take some hormone. :D :D :D
