In US / Canada the new television season has begun. What are you watching? Either network or cable.

Heroes is one of my new favorites.
Studio 60 after it is also good.

Ghost Whisperer.

Battlestar Galactica, Niptuck, Desperate Housewives (mainly Bree storyline).

American Idol will come on in Jan.

I'm liking Dead Like Me.  I really like the heroine. She's my kind of class. I relate.

I'm recording Battlestar Galactica.  It's really a soap in space.  A very good soap mind you but a soap nonetheless.  I'll say I'm not sure but I have a feeling that it will be compelling drama no matter how you class it.

I'm not going to give time to anything else this season.  I need to get back on track with doing and not sitting.

SCRUBS, Grey's Anatomy, Trauma: Life in the ER and pretty much anything on the Food Network LOL.

I watched BSG last night.  I was sorely unimpressed.  They stole the plot from old Adolf themes mingled with current political blunder.  It was totally predictable and slow.  I can't devine the reason for its lack luster performance.  I know that it was a difficult task to set up for the new season assuming that a full year has passed in the timeline.  Much history in a year and complex themes to present for development.

Still, I am looking for great performances from Mary whatsherface, and oh too cool Elmos, and that Baltar guy that looks like Mikko.  And Kara (Starbuck), the ultimate bend in gender role models remains my favorite heroine.

Perhaps I'm being unneccessarily harsh.  Perhaps I wanted more.  Even though it does seem like a soap opera in space, it is a pretty good drama for a soap.  The scifi is the ultimate draw.

I don't get to much time to watch Tv right now but I'm usually watching Flip that house, Flip this house, Property Ladder, Heroes, Grey's anatomy, Dead like me (wish they would uncancel it and start making more episodes), Ghost wisperer, Stargate SG1 and atlantis.

Wish they would bring 'Father Ted' back.  to me its one of the funniest shows there is, and I really dig Irish humour.   Likewise "Dads Army".  "A Touch of Frost"  that is how a classic police show should be - even thou Dective Inspector Frost is such an aggravating little git.

Fawlty Towers,  - geez all of these are OLD,  there is nothing new that is any good :(  except maybe the latest "Doctor Who"
Anybody ever watch "The Kingdom" - strangely interesting & compelling weird.  Cannot call to mind the Danish bloke who is responsible for it.

Sorry US people - US shows are not very interesting,  - when you look at the CSI stuff,  downright crap :(

Me too. I loved it when it was truly drama, and I liked the interesting subtle spiritual stuff they were getting into... but this skipping a year ahead thing makes me feel like I missed a season, and the hybrid babies and holy icons and whatnot is getting a bit campy.

And what's with this new "Let's All Be Friends?" cylon mushiness? Ick! Leave them as mysterious, immortal enemies with weird, dark secrets we can't resist guessing at.

StarBuck is always cute at least ;)

Doc Who is tolerable so far. StargGate and Atlantis weren't bad, but they *really* have to deliver more on the Ori theme. Still, I can deal with *anything* that has Moreena Baccarin in it ;)

Nip/Tuck is strangely compelling, which I'm ashamed to admit.

My truly favorite show has generally been Lost, but I have yet to watch my tape of the premiere for this season.

There's also a show on BBC called "Hex" which is occasionally interesting.

Baltar?  I don't see it o_o  And EW.  He's not bad looking but he fills me with so much HATE.  What an awful person.

I like Lost, BSG (though I'm still catching up on the backstory), Heroes, House, Scrubs, and Weeds.  House is my current favorite show, I love love love the dialogue and characters!

The character is loathsome. The performance is brilliant.  The actor has pulled you in and made you believe he is the devil he pretends to be. You, my friend, have paid him the ultimate compliment.

Aside from the character he portrays, he exudes sophistication, a thoughtful and yet powerful portrayal of the ultimate masculinity. Shaken and yet not stirred.

Yeah. He is a great actor, but man, I just fume and seethe when he's onscreen, I hate that character

I can't get cable out here where i live so I am stuck with only the major channels CBS, NBC, ABC. But I sure do find myself renting movies.  So i am limited on what I even know about, people are naming things I have never even seen! lol

Invasion was my favorite show and of course it got canceled out of network ignorance.
Nip Tuck I have watched on DVD's and so I have now gotten threw season 3. I love the show.
I watched Grey's Anatomy due to the wife getting into it, I watched the series 1 and 2 on DVD, but can't stand watching it on TV. I have no idea why, it just looses my interest.

I have watched Hereo's and not sure yet what I think of it. And the "Men in Tree's" I like because it takes place in the great outdoors, anything outdoors in mountains/winter scenes, I usually am drawn to.

I watched Jeromi---something another can't recall.... tonight with the wife, it is her favorite and it was not half bad, so I can see myself watching that again.

Has anyone watched NINE..... thought i was going to like it, but seems like it is going to loose my interest after watching part way tonight and turning the channel.

Peace

I'm tired of shows with numbers for titles so I kind of boycotted Studio 60, Nin9, and 6 degrees.  Numbers suck, I'm lobbying congress to have them abolished.

I enjoyed the first episode of Heroes quite a bit, but didn't get the opportunity to see subsequent episodes... guess that's what the DVDs are for. I had high hopes about 6 degrees, because from the previews it looked like a great show, but after about 10 minutes I turned off the TV rather than subject myself to more quasi-philosophical dribble. Grey's Anatomy, however, just gets better and better, and I wish I was home enough to watch House! The man is my own personal hero.

Hear! Hear!  Do away with them all, but keep the 0s and 1s...we need them for the internet and Susan's

Ya put your right foot in.  You put your right foot out.  You put your right foot in and you shake it all about.  You do the Andro-gyney and you turn yourself around.  That's what it's all about.
