I'm sorry but no one will ever convince me that this "reptilian" stuff is a possibility. Common sense would tell you that this is nothing more than delusional madness.

no actually its been proven. on live television a reporters eye moved independantly from one another (not just a little crosseyed, like we're talking 90 degrees here.) another time a particle magically reversed its momentum when approaching the reptilian's aura, which extends a few centimeters around its whole body. also another reporter had the classic reptilian iris. the aura is mostly likely a shield technology intended to protect against some forms of airborne illness. im not sure its effectiveness against smallarms fire.

i already know im slightly skitzophrenic this has nothing to do with it. im wasnt the one who thought of this and it isnt a hallucination. there are videos dedicated to this.

I think it was David Icke that came up with this goofy idea. Just because someone posts a video saying that something is true doesn't make it so.

thats why i said it was just a possibilty honey.

I disagree! The government is obviously run entirely by evil ring-tailed lemurs.

Look at their wicked, staring eyes! They HAVE to be in cooperation with the Freemason alien illuminati bomb-throwing Anarchist Marxist Republicans in their sinister plot to bring health care to our country by flouridating the drinking water.

:o

I mean, it just makes so much sense, right?

awww those are too cute! How can you not trust a face like that?

on the other hand, would you buy a used car from this guy??

Actually yes, I probably would, assuming the car's documents checked out. That's Erik Sprague, AKA The Lizardman, a well-known freak show performer who does traditional American sideshow acts such as fire breathing, sword swallowing, Human Dartboard, etc. as well as more modern acts like flesh-hook suspension. He's a smart guy, and pretty highly regarded in the body modification world. Seems like a cool individual, and I can't see any reason not to trust him. I'd probably take the opportunity to compliment him on his subdermal brow ridging.  ;D

Lemmings?

Did someone say Lemmings?
  •

LordKAT

David Icke.

One of Britain's more positive contributions to world debate.

I love these sorts of threads where we can suspend our reality for a while and just have a silly laugh.
  •

PanoramaIsland

I wonder if Raptor Jesus would be counted as one of David Icke's "reptilians," or as part of a separate race of supernatural beings?

Also, wasn't Icke a footballer or something originally?

...

I really should read some of that guy's works, just for a laugh...

The U.S. Constitution, when it's in effect and working, is pretty much a model for not trusting government.

As it would be, given the BS that the colonists had been through.
Of course, it's also (as it was initially put into practice, at least - I don't have enough knowledge to discern beyond that point) a model for not trusting the proletariat, American Indians, women, black people, and various other groups that the Founders deemed inferior, unreliable, not trustworthy, savage, ignorant, as obstacles, or simply as property.

Then again, they also managed not to veer off into puritanical, murderous radicalism (yay, Robespierre!), or to lose the newly formed democratic republic to an emperor (yay, Napoleon!). Mixed blessings, ya know.

I've yet to find anything in life, that, if you look at it and observe it as an adult, is not a 'mixed blessing.'  Perfection is not a human trait, and doesn't seem to be very evident in the rest of the universe either.  The best jobs I've ever had, had aspects to them that sucked.  The worse job's I've ever had, had moments that were pretty good.*  So granted the basic form of a democratic republic with checks and balances such major ass.  It's just that the other forms suck even more ass.

And, I think that's its all but impossible to even begin to ascertain some of that stuff (both the good and the bad) unless you have had some experience in dealing with, traveling through, and/or living in other places, with different systems.

Far to many people are all "YEAH" or "BOO" without any real understanding of the other options, and what the price of those are.

* - and, here is that real human thing too - there are people who have been in those positions, that would agree with me that parts of the good jobs were bad, and parts of the bad jobs were OK, but totally disagree as to what those parts were.

We are going into a state election on saturday. Bit like a state election in USA but different ;D. They run the state but don't have much influence on the feds.
Suprisingly the incumbent of 12yrs(?) have suddenly found a heap of cash to do the things they haven't done in the last 12 yrs. Odd that. The opposition have found the same amount, if not more without having access to Treasury. Either one is telling the truth, or both are lying. Mmm wonder which?

Why do people want to be politicians? I can see it in the "corrupt" countries, presidents retire, or are couped with billions in hidden accounts. But in the USA, UK or Aus. Why?

Maybe I'm just being naive again.
