Dear Miss Lonelyhearts: In response to the wife of the cross-dresser, there are support systems for spouses of cross-dressers. Try local group Masquerade, Rainbow Resource Centre, or the public library (good book -- My Husband Betty). As a cross-dresser myself, I'm peeved at women for being so small-minded over this! We're not all gay, or beat our wives and kids, or kick the dog. Women want the fantasy of a knight on a steed, but then complain the lance is too small, or the smell is bad. We cross-dress to be close to women, and it feels good. And don't forget women cross-dress daily in suits with guy's shoulder pads, boy leg briefs, zipper flies in jeans. If we complain to women about that, we don't get sex. Now there are also dresses custom made for a man's figure. Yes. I look silly in a dress, but I don't go out and flaunt it. It feels good. I wear panties everyday under my clothes. -- Frilly, Winnipeg
