Peaches Geldof was mistaken for a transvestite after glamming up in Boy George-style make-up.

Peaches, 21, tried out different iconic looks for her column in US magazine Nylon.

She writes: 'In keeping with the beauty theme of this issue, I thought it would be fun to try out other people's make-up looks to see the reactions I get.'

She goes on: 'Culture Club front man Boy George is an obvious first choice for me.'
