Hey all :)
I was inspired by the thread discussing guy liner. I've never done eyeliner unless I'm going FULLY girly and doing all the make up I can find. I think the last time I wore eyeliner was...halloween a few years ago? Maybe as long as my wedding which was four years ago. Anyway...wanted to see what I'd look like with eyeliner done in a "manly" way. So....here's the results:

and then just a normal straight on shot:

Which...is odd because I don't normally TAKE straight on pictures. I'm a 3/4 kinda person...so I almost don't recognize me there. HA

It looks like...... eh..... like....
.... eyeliner?...  ???

I don't know.. I've never been much of a.. guy-liner fantatic...
If I look like crap (read: zombie-ish) in the morning I'll throw on a wee bit of mascara (longer lashes on dudes anywho) and a wee bit of eyeliner. Then I actually look like I care to be awake.  8)

Looks good to me.  The lower lid only underplays it a bit, which looks more neutral than typical "fem" eyeliner I'd say.  I'm kind of illiterate towards makeup and eyeliner, but would like to learn a bit more on understated makeup myself.

lol @ no-id. Well yea...it simply looks like I"m wearing eyeliner! I didn't expect a little touch up to change my whole apperance. lmao. Definitly won't be a frequent visitor on my face but it was fun for the evening.

Humorously I've never been the make up sort of girl. Just never been my thing. I always feel more self contious like "oh noz! Everyone knows I'm wearing make up!!" right...cuz that would be SO terrible.

However when I saw a number of guys I like wearing eyeliner thinnly like this...I became interested. Go figure.

I've never heard of guy-liner before.  Idk... maybe it's the baseball hat, but it reminds me of eye black you'd put on before playing an outdoor sport, only it looks like you were a little skimpy on it.

I think it would look better if you used a q tip to smudge it

I don't wear makeup very much either and when I do I'm also pretty self-conscious. Everybody does know I'm wearing makeup: they loudly POINT IT OUT and then laugh for a little bit, thanks friends.

They call it guy-liner or manliner to try and minimize the terrible gender confusion of a man wearing eyeliner. It's not makeup, it's MAN makeup.

Haha.  That happened to me the one time I wore makeup (my gradmother was visiting and was shocked that I was 17 and didn't wear makeup, so obviously I didn't know how and obviously it was her duty to show me and so I let her do my face and then I didn't get it all off before going to work and I got a lot of "[insert female name here], are you wearing MAKEUP!?".  Yeah.  Not cool.
