OTTAWA — The flamboyant, internationally renowned drag queen Dixie Landers took a back seat Thursday to his soberly dressed, brain-injured creator, who told an Ottawa court that he had no memory of a drunken brawl that left him in a coma and an incensed gay community "on fire."

According to prosecutors, female impersonator Michael Marcil suffered severe brain injuries after Andrew Ronald Lefebvre, 28, punched him during the early morning fight outside the Centretown Pub on May 26, 2007.
