How come when i see pictures of  overseas i see class and beautiful architecture and an open minded society.And when i look at the the united states i see a redneck republican homophobe eating at burger king??

Because you're seeing an accurate representation of all of North America, and an inaccurate representation of everywhere else.

I don't know, in San Francisco it its hard to find rednecks (unless they are on vacation), homophobes, or most certainty Republicans, (rumor has it that the 3 Republican's we have keep hoping for a fourth one to show up so they can play bridge), and though we might have more Burger King's than McDonald's, its a matter of 5 of one and 6 of the other, mostly in the tourist areas and financial district.

You need to get out more, no place is all of one, and none of the other, not even Utah.
