I am so excited I just heard today that I have a pre-op SRS consultation with my surgeon on the 25th May. I am thrilled after all the ups and downs I have had recently over funding. Any way once I see him I will get a date for my surgery, yeahhhhhhhhhhh,

Now how do you get those ticker factory count down things, lol

To get the ticker you have to put the code in your signature (it's in profile exit).

I must be dense because I copied and pasted and I tried each code and none seemed to work just kept on getting a error message.

the starting tag has to be in caps

Hi al james, thanks, I brought out the big guns. Within 24hrs of finding they had refused, I had an equality commission, my MP my gender consultant and some influential people behind me so I guess they didn't know what hit them. It was overturned in a matter of weeks. I had a letter after from my MP which outlines what he had said, he strongly represented me at the PCT meeting. So I was prepared to not sit down and take it, lol. I also sent in a letter of complaint to PALS in the strongest of terms threatening the above people and also my MEP and EU legislation on equality and discrimination of transgendered people.

So I guess I had a strong case and backing. They must have been sorry to mess with this woman, lol. You have to fight your case.

I know four from my clinic were turned down but I don't know the outcome of the others.
