This is a personal take on my thoughts this past week, since the initial thoughts I wrote in LA Times On Christine Daniels: "Public Triumph, Private Torment". With a week to think about the article.

Let me begin by saying I'm bipolar. My new psychiatrist is Dr. Hagop S. Akiskal, and he's considered as perhaps the leading researcher on nosology of the bipolar spectrum -- he's the researcher who developed the bipolar spectrum. And, he's has indicated a new element to diagnosis of my Bipolar Type 2 diagnoses -- Bipolar Type 2-and-a-half.
